Brennan's of Houston Introduces Family-Style "Big Easy" Dinners

a private dining room within the restaurant

WHAT: Brennan's of Houston is pleased to announce a five-evening of "Big Easy" Dinners launching June 19. While the moniker is an ode to the Brennan family roots in New Orleans, there is also a double meaning for guests -- "big" because you can feed a crowd, and "easy" because they do all the work for you! Each of the family-style dinners will highlight a different dish that reflects the broad culinary inspiration seen on the restaurant's menu, from Creole Fried Chicken to a Whole Leg of Lamb.

In June, "Pig Out" on Cochon du Lait (roast suckling pig), served with a cornucopia of sides, including hogs head cheese salad, sweet potato and Andouille soup, pork cracklins, boudin sausage, dirty rice, farmer's vegetables and a dessert. The inaugural dinner will also mark the debut of the restaurant's new large oven, which will be used to roast the pig as well as the other main courses throughout the series.
